Founded in 1990 by our visionary chairman, A.C.M. Mukhtar, Lanka Guardian Commodities laid the foundation for Green Asia Commodities as its subsidiary. Mukhtar’s initial focus on supplying spices in wholesale to local exporters paved the way for our growth. Today, with over 20 years of experience, Green Asia Commodities continues the legacy, backed by the dedication of Mukhtar’s three sons who serve as directors.

Green Asia Commodities started as a small business and ventured into exports in 2010. Over the years, our export processes expanded, making us a key player in the industry. In 2014, we proudly became the largest exporter of sesame seeds, extending our reach to countries such as Japan, the Middle East, and India. Despite our growth, our commitment to ethical values remains unwavering.

Mission

At Green Asia Commodities, our mission is to share the finest teas and spices from Sri Lanka’s bountiful harvests with the world. We aspire to build strong trade relations globally, contributing positively to Sri Lanka’s economy through our endeavors.

We specialize in supplying and exporting a diverse range of products, including premium Sri Lankan teas such as herbal and spice teas, as well as the finest spices like cloves, sesame seeds, black pepper, nutmeg, and cinnamon.
